Funding Soi Dog Foundation’s Life-Changing CNVR Programme
We’re thrilled to announce our support for Soi Dog Foundation, one of Asia’s most influential animal welfare organisations, through funding their world-leading Catch, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return (CNVR) programme across the southern provinces of Thailand.
Founded in 2003 by John and Gill Dalley, Soi Dog has grown into a global leader in improving the welfare of dogs and cats across Asia. Their mission is to create better lives for both animals and people by reducing stray populations, ending animal cruelty, and building compassionate communities.
With The AVM Foundation’s funding, thousands more street dogs and cats will receive vital care - reducing overpopulation, controlling disease, and improving animal welfare in local communities. John Dalley MBE, Co-Founder & President of Soi Dog Foundation International, shared his gratitude for the partnership:
“A heartfelt thank you to The Anthony V. Martin Charitable Foundation for their generous support of our world-leading Catch, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return (CNVR) programme in Thailand. CNVR is the only humane method of population and disease control in countries like Thailand, which have a huge stray animal population. With no government funding, Soi Dog Foundation currently sterilises over 250,000 dogs and cats each year.”
As of September 2025, Soi Dog Foundation’s CNVR Programme has sterilised over 1,555,280 animals — an extraordinary milestone in their mission to end the suffering of stray animals. We can’t wait to see their next incredible update as they continue transforming the lives of animals and communities across Asia.
We’re proud to stand alongside Soi Dog Foundation as they continue to deliver transformative change for vulnerable animals across Asia.
