Celebrating 25 Years - £250,000 for the Charities Changing Lives 🎉

In March 2026, The Anthony V. Martin Charitable Foundation turns 25 — and we're marking this milestone by giving away £250,000 to animal charities doing extraordinary work.

Ten charities will each receive £25,000 to complete a vital project that creates lasting change for animals.

If your charity needs to complete a critical build, fund essential equipment, or secure running costs to continue life-saving work — this is your moment.

🕊 25 Years of Compassion in Action

  • Where It All Began

In 2001, following a remarkable global career, Tony Martin established The Anthony V. Martin Charitable Foundation with a clear vision: to reduce animal suffering and promote education in animal welfare and conservation around the world.

"How some people don't treat animals the way that they would like to be treated themselves is unforgivable. These species exist on the planet alongside us, and we should therefore respect their wishes just as much as we respect our own." — Anthony Martin

That belief — that animals deserve the same dignity and compassion we expect for ourselves — remains at the heart of everything we do.

  • Our Legacy

Over 25 years, the AVM Foundation has supported projects on every continent — from elephant sanctuaries in Asia to street dog rescues in Thailand, from wildlife rehabilitation centres to farm animal havens.

    We've helped to:

✓ Build and sustain animal hospitals, sanctuaries and rescue centres

✓ Train and educate veterinarians and welfare professionals globally

✓ Drive policy change to protect animals through legislation and advocacy

✓ Strengthen communities with outreach and conservation programmes

✓ Fund core costs that keep charities focused on saving lives

Every grant reflects our commitment to kindness, education, and real, measurable impact.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
