Grant Helps Protect Rescued Farm Animals in All Seasons

Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary has been awarded a grant from the Anthony V. Martin Foundation to help provide year-round shelter for rescued goats and sheep in its care.

Founded in 2018, Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary provides a lifelong home for farmed and domestic animals who have experienced neglect, abandonment, or other difficult circumstances. Today, the sanctuary cares for more than 80 animals, ensuring each one receives the compassion, safety, and individual care they deserve.

The Foundation's grant will fund the purchase of a mobile field shelter, providing essential protection for rescued goats and sheep throughout the year. The new shelter will offer refuge from harsh weather conditions while giving the sanctuary greater flexibility to position it where it is needed most across the site.

By improving the animals' living environment and welfare, the grant will help Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary continue its mission of providing lifelong care and a safe place for rescued animals to call home.

The Anthony V. Martin Foundation is proud to support Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary and the important work it does to give vulnerable animals the protection, care, and second chances they deserve.
