Thriving in Their New Home - Ivy Dene Rabbit Rescue Update

We're delighted to share wonderful news from Ivy Dene Rabbit Rescue, recent recipients of an AVM Foundation grant. Based in Yorkshire, this small charity has big dreams and a vital mission to protect and advocate for rabbits in need. Their Half-Wild Enclosure is now complete, and the results speak for themselves!

The rescue recently moved to a new location in 2023, providing much-needed space to build brand new bunny housing and take in more rabbits. Our grant has helped support this expansion, directly contributing to their ability to save more lives.

Beth from Ivy Dene recently wrote to us - "The 13 rabbits can't believe their luck. They are absolutely thriving in their new space and it has made such a visible difference to their happiness and wellbeing."

This project perfectly embodies our mission of supporting those who care for animals that many consider disposable. The dedicated team at Ivy Dene continues their vital work despite daily challenges, giving these rabbits the full lives they deserve.

Beth's words capture the heart of this work - "I am truly humbled that others believe these rabbits deserve to live full lives. Being awarded this grant has really helped myself and the team continue through the many challenges we face day to day caring for these animals who so many see as disposable."

It's incredibly rewarding to see our funding make such a tangible difference to animal welfare. The transformation in these rabbits' quality of life is a testament to the passion and dedication of rescue organisations like Ivy Dene.
