Supporting More Cats in Need Across Northern Ireland
North Coast Cat Rescue has been awarded a grant from the Anthony V. Martin Foundation to help expand its capacity to rescue, treat, and care for stray and feral cats across Northern Ireland.
Established in 2024, the charity is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable cats through rescue, treatment, and neutering programmes. By tackling the root causes of stray cat populations while providing care for animals already in need, North Coast Cat Rescue is helping to create lasting improvements in animal welfare across the region.
The Foundation's grant will fund essential equipment, including humane traps, fostering crates, and neonatal incubators for vulnerable kittens. These vital resources will enable the charity to safely rescue more cats, provide specialist care for the youngest and most vulnerable animals, and expand its ability to support cats on their journey to recovery and, where possible, rehoming.
By investing in equipment that strengthens the charity's day-to-day operations, the grant will help North Coast Cat Rescue continue growing its impact and provide lifesaving care to even more cats in need.
The Anthony V. Martin Foundation is proud to support North Coast Cat Rescue and its commitment to improving the lives of stray and feral cats through compassionate care, treatment, and prevention.
